About Blossoming Roots Farm and Supply
We are a sustainable flower farm grounded in providing you with eco-promoting floral products and services that cultivates a sense of activism and joy in your life.
Located at 13953 Stanley Park Dr, Ashland, VA 23005, Blossoming Roots Farm and Supply operates as a florist serving Ashland in Virginia. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Florists in the United States range from neighborhood flower shops with a walk-in cooler to studio designers who work only by appointment for weddings and events. Most retail florists build arrangements to order, deliver the same day when you call before early afternoon, and belong to a wire network (FTD, Teleflora or BloomNet) that passes out-of-town orders to a local shop. Ordering from the shop directly rather than through a national website usually means more flowers for the money, because no order-gatherer takes a cut. Flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, often early in the morning, and many now open to the public. Flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies and sunflowers and sell by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own.

Ashland is in Virginia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Ashland is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Virginia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Blossoming Roots has been working with my residents at Acclaim at Carriage Hill for two years now and providing them with lots of informational seminars regarding gardening and pollination. Conner has also provided some pretty neat crafts for them and they have enjoyed them very much, Conner is very knowledgeable about protecting and conserving nature. I would, without a doubt recommend him to anyone!

Connor is so knowledgeable and truly a great person to work with! My bouquet preservation was beyond my expectations and I’m so excited to get to look at it every day! He was communicative, punctual, and careful to maintain the integrity of my flowers. All this on top of me reaching out AFTER my wedding happened. (This was a last minute decision on my part to have this done and I am so glad I did and that Connor was the one I found to do it!) Work with Connor if you have the need/opportunity. You won’t regret it.
